EPIC Projects:
It is suggested that one book project be submitted each 9 weeks.
Book projects can be either digital or paper. The sky is the limit on the possibilities for the design of the book projects. Ideas include: iMovies, Prezis, PowerPoints, PowToons, etc. or 3-sided boards, decorated cereal boxes, etc. The best projects submitted each nine weeks may be reported on the AIS Morning News Broadcasts. Projects should be neat and attractive with no spelling or grammatical errors.

CHECKLIST FOR GRADING EPIC PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:
Regardless of what format (poster, shoe box, trifold, PowerPoint, PicCollage, etc.), all
EPIC Projects should include the following:
_____ This book is in (or near) my reading range OR I had the book approved by my teacher or librarian.
_____ I scored an 80 or above on my quiz for this book.
EPIC Book Project Checklist for FICTION:

_____ Plot (Summary) without giving away the ending
_____ Theme/ Mood
_____ Student Rating (Give your opinion by rating the book from 1-5. 5 stars is the best.)
_____ Audience Recommendation: Who might like to read this book and why? (Example: You would like this book if … you like survival stories and adventure.)
_____ Sources Cited
Make it appealing by including:
_____ Image of the book cover
_____ Images that support the characters, setting, or plot
_____ Image of the author
_____ Images of a few other titles the author has written (if applicable)
_____ Video or book trailer (if applicable)
Grammar:
